Jubilee Scholarships
In 2002 the Company established a Scholarship Fund to celebrate
the 50th Anniversary of the Farmers Company and Her Majesty
The Queen's Golden Jubilee.
A limited number of scholarships are available each year to
assist younger members of the agricultural community with their
educational expenses, the average award being £200 to £300. Awards
are made through agricultural colleges. Here is a photograph of
Past Master Follett Balch presenting the 2011 prize to Samuel
Vaughan of Harper Adams College and Samuel subsequently went
on to obtain a First degree and other awards.
