Entry into the Company as a Freeman may be achieved by:
- Redemption - following the proposal and
seconding by Liverymen and approved by the Court, the candidate is
elected a Freeman.
- Apprenticeship - also known as ‘Freedom
by Servitude’, for a period of not less than four years and not
more than eight years, completion of apprenticeship will give
admittance to the Company as a Freeman.
- Patrimony - the right of a child born
when his/her parent is a Liveryman of the
Company.
